Complicated thing that humans call relationship

Human relationships are still a big mystery for me.

How could you love someone while still remembering all the bad memories they left you with? 

How could you resent someone but cry each time you are reminded by the kindness you once felt?

How could you laugh with someone after they just broke your heart again last night?

How could you shout at someone when the last thing you wanted is to upset them?

How could you stay beside someone when all you ever wanted is to leave?

How could you give someone roses but forget to cut the thorns?

So I pray,

May the space that exists between our mind and heart find its own way to peace.
